HOLY CROSS LCMS SUNDAY SCHOOL & YPS (Young People’s Society) HAS A FACEBOOK PAGE! If you want to be a part of it to receive notifications and share photos of events, please contact Susan Serre — it is a ‘secret group’ for privacy so you will have to be added. This is an easy way to get information and reminders!
UPCOMING EVENTS:
Young People’s Society is a fellowship and activity group for all Holy Cross kids from 7th grade on up to 12th grade. We will meet once a month on Sunday, typically on the first Sunday, immediately following 10:45 Sunday Service. We’ll have lunch, fellowship and Bible study, planning for the next month’s activity, and then we will do the activity that was planned the previous month! This is meant to be a student-led organization, so come and join us and we will create the adventures we will have! This is your chance to plan cookouts, outdoor activities, service activities and the fun that you’d like to see. We will have a service project for the church, we will fundraise for any activities that have a cost. YPS is for the kids, and by the kids.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL IS ALMOST HERE, MARK YOUR CALENDARS! This year the VBS theme is Rainforest Explorers, and it will be held June 8th through the 12th, from 9 am to 3 pm daily. Ages for attendees are from kindergarten to just completing 6th grade. Older youth can come and volunteer in the afternoons! Regular lessons will be held from 9 am to 11:30, then lunch and extra activities in the afternoon. If the full day is too long, please feel free to just have your child attend from 9 to 11:30 or lunch. Please contact us with any questions and check back soon for a link to the registration form.
